6 Months Young!

Shelby turned 6 months on May 29th. Where has the time gone?!? I cannot believe it has already been 6 months since this precious little baby came into our lives. It has been a wild ride but so worth it. We've come to the conclusion that we have been spoiled with Shelby for these reasons:

1 - She has been sleeping through the night since she was a month old.

2 - She NEVER cries or whines.

3 - She stays happy pretty much no matter what; even with a cold she's always smiling and giggling.

4 - She loves her car seat and will sleep on any road trip.

What Shelby's been up to lately:

1 - She loves playing with her feet and toes...and my toes as well.

2 - She is SOOOO close to crawling. She can get anywhere she wants to by scooting, flopping and rolling.

3 - She is a total water baby; she loves showers and baths and especially her rubber duckies.

4 - She's acquired a taste for rice cereal and green beans and can't seem to get enough.

5 - She's starting to entertain herself with her toys for longer periods of time.

6 - She's started the stranger anxiety stage...you can hold her for about 30 seconds then the tears come once she realizes you're not her mom or dad. 

7 - She loves to be outside. Thank goodness for the sunny days we've had lately!

8 - This week she graduated to size 2 diapers and size 6 month clothes. 

Her 6 months stats:

15.10 lbs - 50th percentile

27 inches - 90th percentile

17 inch head - 60th percentile

6 months - Her elephant somehow seems to be getting smaller and smaller. 

Our little angel is growing up too fast. I believe time goes by more quickly when you have a kid. Every day it seems like she learns something new or progresses on her "crawling". It's so much fun and is amazing to watch her learn and grow. She's such a smart little cookie and we are the luckiest parents to have her in our lives. Love you Shelby-belly!
