Today started out pretty good so I had the fun idea of documenting what it is we do on Sunday's...at least this one. For starters we stay in bed until we hear Shelby wake up and start talking to herself in her crib. We get her up and start getting her ready for her breakfast. She insisted on sucking on her toes this morning.
After she had her breakfast it was mine and Ryan's turn to figure out what we wanted for breakfast. Our church isn't till 1pm so we have a lot of time to goof around and play on Sunday's mornings. Today we felt like making German Pancakes for breakfast. Ryan decided he wanted to watch the process of the "puff" so he and Shelby camped out in front of the oven and watched it "puff" for 20 minutes...haha!!

Here's the finished product fresh out of the oven. We always like seeing what it looks like straight out of the oven because it never looks the same twice. It always puffs so differently!

Yummy!!!
After breakfast and a small lunch (we forgot it was Fast Sunday until we got to church...oops!) we went to church. Here's Shelby and I all dressed up in our Sunday best. Shelby is actually wearing a dress that my little sister Kaeli use to wear when she was Shelby's age...9 years ago!

Ready for church!
After church we bbq'd some steaks and had a yummy dinner!! Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of that...totally forgot. Since today was such a beautiful, warm and sunny day we decided to take a drive somewhere and enjoy the sunshine. I suggested we drive to Redondo Beach in Federal Way and walk the boardwalk along the sound. So we did! It was sooo pretty and nice out! The boardwalk is a good 1/2 mile and we walked from one end to the other and back. We didn't wanna leave but we needed to get Shelby home so she could eat some dinner and start getting ready for bed. Here's a few pics of the lovely weather at the boardwalk.

When we were walking along the boardwalk we noticed an amazingly perfect green lawn in front of a gorgeous house. We couldn't believe it was so perfect looking so we had to cross the road and touch it. Yes...we crossed the road to touch some grass...haha! We got to the house and Ryan bent down to touch it and yelped "It's TURF!!"

The amazing green grass...errr turf.
What the heck?? Are you serious?? Yup...these homeowners had a turf front lawn. Don't get me wrong, it looked great from far away. We had a good laugh after that.
Now we're at home watching The Amazing Race and enjoying the evening and playing with Shelby. Today was a great day!
